Practuoso Terms of Service

Effective: September 7, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Practuoso, operated by Sookyoung Jang ("Practuoso," "we," "us," or "our") in Alabama, United States. By creating an account or using Practuoso, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app license.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a current Practuoso account. If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and permitted your use where required. Practuoso does not provide an under-13 parental-consent account system.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information where requested, use the account only as authorized, and protect your credentials. Do not share passwords, impersonate another person, or attempt to access another account. Contact practuoso.support@gmail.com if you believe your account is compromised.

3. The service

Practuoso provides music-practice planning, training, progress, rewards, and closed Friends features. Features may change as the service develops. Practuoso is a practice aid and does not guarantee audition results, grades, admission, professional advancement, or a particular musical outcome.

4. Friends and user content

You may connect with Friends, choose to share eligible practice activity, react to shared activity, and submit limited report details. You retain rights you hold in content you create. You grant Practuoso a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, moderate, and provide the service. This license does not authorize third-party AI-model training. You must have the right to submit what you provide.

Current v1 has no public user discovery, public profiles, direct messaging, comments, precise-location sharing, user-uploaded media, or external links in Friends content. Practice sharing requires an explicit onboarding choice and remains editable in Settings.

5. Community and safety rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, hatefully target, impersonate, spam, scam, expose personal information, exploit minors, submit illegal material, or interfere with another person's use of the service. Do not misuse reports or attempt to evade blocks, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.

Practuoso may investigate reports and restrict social features or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement. Decisions should be proportionate to available evidence. Contact support to request review of a safety or account decision.

6. Practice content and copyright

Enter only notes and content you have the right to use. A composition, arrangement, printed edition, and sound recording may involve different rights. Current v1 does not upload or share sheet music, PDFs, MusicXML, images, video, or recordings. Send copyright concerns with enough detail to identify the material and your authority to practuoso.support@gmail.com. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents.

7. Feedback and limitations

Rhythm results estimate how screen taps match an app-generated exercise; device and audio latency can affect them. Sight Reading uses a timed read-through and self-report, not microphone grading. Ear Training and Music Literacy reflect responses to generated exercises. Practuoso does not diagnose playing from a recording and has no external AI grading in current v1.

XP, Energy, Beats, streaks, quests, levels, and similar items are in-app progression measures. They are not money, property, transferable value, certified achievement, or an entitlement to a prize.

8. Acceptable technical use

Do not seek unauthorized access, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, scrape private data, automate abusive traffic, evade eligibility or safety controls, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits, or use the service for illegal activity. Responsible security reports may be sent to the support email.

9. Availability and changes

Cloud synchronization requires connectivity and may be delayed or conflict with changes on another device. Recovery copies reduce some loss risks but cannot guarantee recovery. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We will provide notice or choices where required by law.

10. Account deletion and termination

You can request account deletion in the app. Signing out does not delete the account. The Privacy Policy describes deletion, temporary status records, provider logs, backups, and device-copy limitations.

We may restrict access for serious or repeated violations, credible safety risks, fraud, attacks on the service, or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error.

11. Third-party services, payments, and advertising

Practuoso uses Apple platform services and Google Firebase, whose applicable terms may also apply. Current v1 has no subscription, in-app purchase, external payment, third-party advertising, or cross-app behavioral tracking.

12. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Practuoso is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. You remain responsible for safe practice habits, protecting your credentials, and maintaining copies of information important to you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Alabama, United States, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. No arbitration requirement or class-action waiver is imposed by these Terms.

14. Changes and contact
